Alford Crematorium

Alford Crematorium is a new build crematorium in the centre of the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire. The crematorium has been designed by award winning architect Rosamund Nicholson, and is in the classical style, designed to be highly sympathetic to the rural location. The 11 acre grounds are being developed as parkland, and over 1600 trees have been planted so far.

Alford Crematorium opened for services on the 21st November 2007. There was an open day for clergy and funeral directors on 8th November and there will be one for members of the public in December. Visitors are welcome by appointment or at any time after the 23rd November.
